Streptavidin-HRP, DAB, Methyl Green counterstain, and reagents necessary for generating positive controls

Designed for detection of DNA fragmentation in fixed cells, embedded tissue, and frozen tissue using light microscopy

A common biochemical marker of apoptosis is DNA fragmentation. In situ, the 3 ft. ends of cleaved DNA fragments provide a substrate for the enzyme terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase (TdT) which adds nucleotides at the site of DNA breaks.

Optimized for detection of apoptosis in tumor-derived sections and cells
Supplemented with a cation that specifically enhances the signal in apoptotic tumor cells
TACS-Nuclease™ allows positive controls to be
generated for each experim
