Description

Convenient set of the most common tuning forks.

Tuning forks are excellent tools for students to investigate resonance and pitch. A simple strike of a tuning fork onto a rubber surface demonstrates how its length affects the pitch that it creates. Tuning forks are useful in providing sound for resonance tubes or for exploring the Doppler effect.

Tuning Fork Set of 4 contains one each of 256 Hz, 320 Hz, 384 Hz, and 512 Hz forks.

Please note: never strike a tuning fork on a hard surface or against another tuning fork.
