Description

High performance transilluminators use 25-watt UV tubes for uniform, brilliant back-lit fluorescence illumination and high sensitivity on stained gels.

High-performance transilluminators
• Four 25w tubes—a UVP exclusive—provide 100w of high intensity illumination
• Offer high fluorescence and high sensitivity on stained gels
• Uniform, brilliant, backlit fluorescence illumination
• UVG long-life filter
• Unique background uniformity screen (on 302nm midrange and 365nm longwave models) enhances performance

Choice of 13 models:
• Dual-intensity models with 302 or 254nm wavelength are each available in four filter sizes
• Dual-intensity model with 365nm wavelength has 20 × 40cm filter area
• Fixed-intensity models with dual 302/365nm wavelength come in four filter sizes

Easy to clean, safe to touch.
• Stainless-steel cover frame for easy cleaning and reduced sample contamination
• Powerful cooling fan maintains low filter surface temperature to avoid sample damage and assure constant UV intensity
• Removable, adjustable protective UV blocking cover included

Note: UVP refers to its midrange UV products as 302nm; other manufacturers may specify 300nm, 310nm or 312nm. The spectral output of these units is the same as UVP's 302nm.
