Description
MA1-80281 recognizes the sequence IPNPLLGL, present on the P/V proteins of the paramyxovirus, SV5. This antibody has been used to detect recombinant proteins, including epitope-tagged transmembrane and secreted proteins. Successfully used tags include a 14-amino acid tag (gly lys pro ile pro asn pro leu leu gly leu asp ser thr) and a smaller 9-amino acid tag that has been used to inhibit the binding of the monoclonal antibody to its native protein.
