Veraflox (pradofloxacin 2.5%) is an oral suspension for the treatment of bacterial skin infections (wounds and abscesses) in cats caused by susceptible strains of Pasteurella multocida, Streptococcus canis, Staphylococcus aureus, Staphylococcus felis, and Staphylococcus pseudintermedius. Veraflox combines efficacy, safety and ease-of-use with: dual targeting of enzymes necessary for bacterial DNA replication; once-daily administration in a palatable suspension; and, an easy-to-use dispenser that makes accurate dosing simple.
