Description

Description

The Applied Biosystems™ VeritiPro™ Dx Thermal Cycler is a next-generation end-point thermal cycler designed to amplify nucleic acids using the polymerase chain reaction (PCR). The VeritiPro Dx Thermal Cycler is both US-IVD and CE-IVD, IVDR compliant.

Features of the VeritiPro Dx Thermal Cycler include:
Security mode—safeguard the integrity of validated protocols and results
VeriFlex blocks—optimize experiments precisely (ramp rate of 6.0°C/sec)
Lower noise output, ergonomic soft-close lid for enhanced user experience
Large, intuitive touchscreen interface—program protocols easily
Compact footprint—maximize benchtop space
Simulation mode—transfer protocols from Veriti Dx Thermal Cycler

Transition with confidence
The In-Vitro Medical Diagnostic Regulation (IVDR) is the latest in a series of regulatory revisions from the European Union (EU) regarding safety and quality standards for medical devices. The VeritiPro Dx Thermal Cycler is the first IVDR, Class A thermal cycler that conforms to (EU) 2017/746 requirements. It is also classified as a US FDA Class I medical device.

Peace of mind: security mode
There are two security modes under the administrative profile: Creation mode enables users to view, modify, and run all methods. Run-only mode restricts user access to the IVD folder and permits users to only view and run IVD methods, which help reduce the risk of unauthorized use and accidental or intentional misuse.

Enhanced PCR functionality: VeriFlex blocks
VeriFlex blocks are controlled by multiple Peltier elements and are used to optimize PCR temperature with precision. The VeritiPro Dx Thermal Cycler allows for six zones of independent temperature control, providing the ultimate control of your PCR workflows.

Easy method transfer: simulation mode
Simulation mode supports the convenient transition of protocols and mimics the ramp rate of the Veriti Dx Thermal Cycler, eliminating the need for re-optimization.

World class service and support
The VeritiPro Dx Thermal Cycler includes installation and initial qualification/operational qualification (IQ/OQ) plus an extra one-year warranty (two years total) plus annual on-site planned maintenance (PM) with OQ by factory-trained Thermo Fisher Scientific field service engineers. This ensures that the VeritiPro Dx system meets our stringent performance specifications to help provide you with reliable results.
