The Addium Water Activity Standards are used to verify the accuracy and operation of water activity meters. They contain saturated salt solutions sealed in air tight glass vials, which create a constant humidity environment. This product includes 5 vials with the following salt solutions: Lithium chloride, Sodium chloride, Magnesium chloride, Potassium sulfate, and Potassium acetate. The vials have water activity values ranging from 0.113 to 0.984 at 25°C. They can be used for annual verification and calibration. The standards are traceable to NIST and come with a certificate of analysis. They have a 12 month shelf life from manufacturing date.
