Functions as a prefilter when used with GF/B microfiber filters. Whatman™ Binder-Free Glass Microfiber Prefilters, Grade GF/D provide efficient membrane protection, especially during liquid scintillation counting.
Glass microfiber filters are mainly used in applications such as air or water monitoring and can be used as pre-filters for membranes.
