The Loos Wire Rope Thimble is made of galvanized steel with a 1/8 inch inside diameter. It is designed to fit 1/8 inch wire rope and protect it from wear. The thimble has a closed round eye and tapered barrel. It can be used in rigging and sling applications to prevent fraying and damage to wire rope. The thimble is rated up to 1 ton working load limit. It meets military specification MIL-T-781J and is made in the USA.
