The Loos Wire Rope Thimble is a galvanized steel thimble with a 3/8" inside diameter. It is compatible with 3/8" wire rope and is used to prevent fraying or damage to the rope ends. The thimble has a rounded rim to prevent chafing and has a standard weight pattern. It meets military specification MIL-T-781J and is made in the USA by Loos & Co. This thimble provides a secure loop termination for lifting, pulling, and tensioning applications.
