Z-Asp-Glu-Val-Asp-7-amino-4-(trifluoromethyl)coumarin acts as a substrate for granzyme B-processed ICE-LAP3, caspase-6, caspase-7, caspase-8, and caspase-10. The reaction can be observed by a blue to green shift in fluorescence upon cleavage of the AFC fluorophore.
