Product DescriptionTE (Tris-EDTA) has a liquid concentrate of 10X with a pH level of 8.0 brought up with HCl and is stored at room temperature. It contains 10 mM Tris and 1 mM EDTA. It is of biotechnology grade and no DNAse or RNAse activity is detected. TE buffer is used to solubilize DNA or RNA while protecting it from degradation. Commonly used for DNA isolation and electrophoresis protocols.

BES is a zwitterionic buffer used in biochemistry and molecular biology, and has been used to study versatile catalyst precursors for mild hydrocarboxylation of alkanes to carboxylic acids. BES was used to determine that saline buffers minimize the action of interfering factors in the bacterial endotoxins test.
