Butylboronic acid is a competitive soybean urease inhibitor with an IC50 of 2.9 mM and a Ki of 1.5 mM. It exerts its inhibitory effect on soybean (Glycine max) urease through a competitive inhibition mechanism. Additionally, it promotes cell proliferation, alkaline phosphatase activity, and expression of GJA1, ALP, and NaBC1 in human dental pulp cells in vitro. This product is intended for research use only.
