TAMRA azide, 5-isomer is a click chemical containing azide groups that can be used as a linker for TAMRA. Its azide group enables copper-catalyzed click chemical reactions with alkynes, DBCO, and BCN. It can also undergo copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition (CuAAc) with molecules containing alkyne groups, and ring strain-promoted alkyne-azide cycloaddition (SPAAC) with molecules containing DBCO or BCN groups (Ex/Em = 555/580 nm).
