Scytek Laboratories SlideMaster, with Humidity Chamber, Two Slide Holders, and Waste Recepticle Components
ScyTek Laboratories, Inc. proudly introduces SlideMaster. A humidity chamber designed by a histotechnologist that eliminates the majority of individual slide handling. SlideMaster has three different parts: A humidity chamber, two individual slide holders with white contrast bars, and a waste receptacle. It has been designed so that all three components are compact and easy to use. A maximum of 20 slides can be used per unit. This is how it works. A hydrophobic barrier (PAP Pen, Catalog #LP0001) is drawn around the tissue section and slides are put in a special slide holder that secures them into place. Drops of antibody are placed on the slides and incubated. After incubation, the individual slide holders can be tilted and secured at a 45 degree angle. All 20 slides are rinsed off in one easy motion and the buffer (PBS-Tween 20, Catalog # ABA125 or TBS-Tween 20, Catalog # TBS125) drains into the waste receptacle. Bellco Roll-In Incubators have 40 cubic feet of volume and are designed for use with Bellco’s Cell Production Roller Apparatus (CPRA). The flush-to-floor design allows easy movement of the CPRA in and out of the chamber. Four internal convenience outlets allow simple connection to internally placed appliances such as CPRA, Roller Drums, Magnetic Stirrers, etc. Fans take air from the chamber top, pass it over the 1100 watt heater and re-inject it into the chamber on the bottom back wall. A microprocessor temperature controller and membrane keypad allows simple setting and monitoring of chamber temperature. A safety thermostat is included to prevent over-temperature failures. The EMS MyTemp 65HC Incubator is designed to provide accurate and uniform temperature control from 0 to 60 degree C. Using forced air technology and stainless steel inner construction, uniform heat transfer is ensured throughout the internal chamber. The broad temperature range of the instrument expands the use of this incubator to both heating and cooling applications.
