- Storage: keep at -80°C or colder; do not store at -20°C.
- Recommended medium: Emmons' modification of Sabouraud's agar/broth (ATCC Medium 28).
- Incubation temperature: 24°C; inspect for growth for up to 4 weeks.
- Isolation source: human lung from a patient with X-linked chronic granulomatous disease.
- Biosafety: handle at biosafety level 2 (BSL-2).
- Intended use: biomedical research and development; follow established aseptic techniques for recovery.
