Heavy wall pressure vessels have an internal thread for use with PTFE bushings as pressure seals. The design allows hand tightening/loosening for easy access into the vessel. O-ring is positioned on the bushing above the thread for improved sealing. Supplied complete with vessel, PTFE bushing & Viton o-ring. Optional Perfluoro o-ring has the chemical resistance & service temperature range similar to Kalrez 4079. 500mL Reaction Vessel, Unjacketed, 100mm Schott O-Ring Flange, 6mm Chem-Drain Valve. Constructed with a flange having a groove formed in the sealing surface of the flange. Flange is ground to permit a greased seal with any of the lids CG1940 through CG-1946. For clamp see CG141 or CG141T. For o-ring see CG147.The Chem-Drain valve incorporates a PTFE plunger that allows the contents of the flask to drain directly through the bore of the plunger. When closed, the tip of the PTFE plug seals into the lower radius of the flask. This feature permits total mixing and drainage of the contents of the flask. When open, the contents of the flask drain through three openings into the main bore of the plug. Lower portion of the plunger has a 1/2" section on the 6mm size and 18mm section on the 12mm size for attachment of flexible tubing to allow material to be transferred into a receiving vessel. The 6mm size will permit drainage of solids having a diameter of 1.5mm.

Unjacketed large scale process reaction vessels. The 10, 15, and 20L vessels have a 200mm ID flange with an o-ring groove formed in the surface of the flange. The 30L and 50L have a 300mm ID flat ground flange. The 10, 15, and 20L are available with a choice of a 2” beaded pipe drain that is detachable, or the 0-20mm valve with 3/4” sidearm that is permanently sealed. These flush bottom (zero dead space) valves are designed to prevent solids from collecting in the bottom of the vessel. Vessels equipped with the 0-20mm sealed on valve are supplied complete with a TFE plug having Perfluoro chemically resistant o-rings. Vessels are serial numbered and have a graduation scale on both sides showing the approximate volume.PLEASE NOTE: VALVE, BEADED PIPE COUPLINGS, AND ADAPTERS MUST BE PURCHASED SEPARATELY.
