The dispenser facilitates the quick and easy dispensing of film from a roll allowing microplates to be sealed three times faster than using sheeted films. Environmentally friendly; no paper liner to remove and discard; utilizes approximately 59% less material than AeraSeal sheeted film. Each sheet is separated by an adhesive-free, perforated, color-coded red band. The smooth lower surface of the dispenser can be used to seal the film to the plate. Dispenser protects unused seals from contamination. Lower support prop prevents dispensing bill from contacting surfaces to prevent contamination. Replacement rolls can be easily installed by releasing the locking clasps on the dispenser. Moisture vapor transmission rate = 4,200g/m²/24hr. (The dispenser sold seperately. Film is stable at -40°C to +120°C. SealPlate rolls contains enough film to cover 100 plates.

SilverSeal CS™ 50 µm Acrylic Adhesive Sealing Film are not recommended for PCR or thermocycling. A single non-perforated end tab simplifies application. Simply hold the tab and strip the backing from the body of the sealing film as it lays on the plate to avoid curling. Dimensions are 82.6 by 132.6 mm, including the single 9.5 mm end tab. SilverSeal CS™ sealing films are certified DNase-, RNase-, and nucleic-acid-free. Certified DNase- & RNase- free. Specially formulated for cold storage to -80°C. Xtreme™ AlumaFoil™ is an aluminum foil seal that offers excellent chemical resistance and superior performance in ultra-low temperatures. The smaller dimensions and chamfered corners result in no plate overhang for robotics applications; universal fit for use with all plate types (e.g. raised-rim and non-skirted). Certified DNase- & RNase- free. Recommended for -80°C long-term storage. Excellent chemical resistance (e.g. DMSO). Specially formulated adhesive provides an excellent seal to minimize evaporation and well-to-well contamination. 1.9mil thick aluminum foil removes easily without tearing and allows for visual verification of the seal’s security around each well. Pierceable with a pipet tip for direct sample recovery. Not recommended for PCR.

ThermalSeal RTS(TM) sealing film is a 50 mum thick polyolefin with 50 mum inert encapsulated silicone adhesive. They are optically clear with low autofluorescence and are especially suited for real-time qPCR storage and protein crystallization applications. The encapsulated silicone adhesive is non-tacky until pressed against the sealing surface at which time adhesive is released only in sealing areas to form the strongest available heat-resistant seal around each well on the plate.
