Microplate Sealing Mats
Microplate sealing mats cover the surface of the plate, and use molded well caps to simultaneously seal each well, protecting contents from leakage, contamination, and evaporation during assay processing, incubation, or storage. Available for a variety of plate types, in a variety of materials, microplate sealing mats are suitable for applications at a wide range of temperatures, including autoclaving, and storage at temperatures to -80°C. To enable easy well access without removing the mat, pre-slit and pierceable formats are available for use with a pipette or needle. Mats come in a variety of colors, and with flat or domed well caps. The mats can be applied manually or with a storage mat applicator.

Mats are made of a chemically resistant polymer that can be used with typical HPLC organic solvents. Designed and molded to seal up to 96 each 500ul or 1ml Inserts in the U-2D Micro-Sample Management System. These mats are Pre-Slit and have alphanumeric markings on the top side of the mats, along the edges for identification of the Inserts.
