Foxx Life Sciences Erlenmeyer Shaker Flasks are molded from virgin, optically clear, non-leaching polycarbonate resin that complies with stringent FDA and USP requirements. Our flasks can be used for cell cultures, microbial cultures, media preparation and storage. Flasks are available in 1liter and 2 liter sizes with flat bases for general laboratory use, and baffled bases for increased oxygenation add mixing. They have molded in graduation marks and additional 20% overhead space. All Flasks and Versa Caps™ are autoclavable at 15 PSI and 121°C for 20 minutes. Our flasks are compatible with all 50 mm Versa Caps™ and adapter inserts, enabling easy customization of top connections. Vented Versa Caps™ with 0.2 μm hydrophobic membrane are available separately as an accessory.

Erlenmeyer Baffled Flasks for shaker, storage, and titration functions are available. Choose flat bottom plastic or borosilicate glass options with durable white enamel scales or reinforced rims. Select disposable or autoclavable models with baffled bases in a variety of graduation ranges and capacities. Some flasks include both vented and solid screw caps for easy exchange. Sterile, individually wrapped, and pyrogen, DNase, and RNase free models are offered for cell culture applications. Heavy duty rim flasks with narrow neck and mouth from various suppliers are also available. The polypropylene screw caps are vented with 0.2µm membranes to increase air transmission and enhance cell growth. The mouth size conforms with the international SBS standard, for quick, secure connection to bioreactor equipment.Polycarbonate flasks and Jumbo Fernbach flasks have baffled (ribbed) bottoms to provide increased oxygenation and mixing efficiency even at lower shaking speeds. All flasks, regardless of size, are individually wrapped and gamma sterilized to SAL 10-6, and they are free of RNase, DNase, pyrogen, endotoxins and human DNA. Polycarbonate Flasks are autoclavable at 121°C and 15PSI for 30 minutes.
