It has a maximum pressure rating of 100 PSI at 73°F and is NSF-pw certified for use with potable water. The fitting body and nuts are lead-free brass. It can be used for hot and cold potable water applications. This reducing tee fitting helps provide secure connections in residential and commercial plumbing and hydronic heating systems.

These medical nylon fittings are made from the same resin as natural nylon but with FDA-compliant white coloring. They offer good tensile strength, stiffness, and impact resistance and are resistant to fuels and lubricants. Not recommended for use with phenols, strong acids, and oxidizing agents.
