The Instech VABR1T/22-CLX-AB02 is a single-channel magnetic spring tether for rats, optimized for the ABS2™ automated blood sampler. It features a 12 in (30 cm) assembly with C-Flex tubing, chosen for its flexibility and durability in peristaltic pump applications. The magnetic connector provides a quick-snap, low-stress attachment to the Vascular Access Button™, minimizing animal handling. A stainless steel spring protects the fluid line from gnawing while allowing the animal to move freely. This closed-system design is critical for maintaining catheter patency and aseptic integrity during longitudinal PK/PD studies.
