PEEK Tubing, Solid Layer Color Coded PEEK Tubing (Red) - 1/16" OD x .005" ID x 100FT, 6700 PSI, 460 BAR. PEEK tubing has the strength required to withstand continuous use at HPLC pressure without swelling or bursting, and is not affected by halide salts, high strength buffers, or other aggressive mobile phases that corrode stainless steel. The polymer surface will not leach metal ions into the eluent or extract metal-sensitive components from the sample. Note however that dichloromethane, THF, and DMSO may cause swelling in PEEK, and concentrated nitric and sulphuric acid will attack PEEK.

This MicroSolv PTFE ( Polytetrafluoroethylene ) Tubing is extruded from virgin PTFE, manufactured exclusively by DuPont. We do not add any additives to the original PTFE material, except for particles for color coding. This tubing is used widely in all low-pressure, laboratory applications including before and after an HPLC Pump such as with Mobile Phase Delivery and Solvent Waste Systems. Since PTFE tubing contains "micro-pores" in the tubing wall, which allows a quick air exchange, consideration for for use with degassed and oxygen-sensitive solvents is needed. Internal and Outer Dimensional Tolerance: +/- 0.20mm Color: Natural PTFE, Translucent ID: 0.020" ( 0.50mm ) Pressure rating: 725 psi.
