The Hand-Tight EXP™ Trap Column is rated to 20,000+ psi. This unique design connects directly to any injection valve (with 10-32 threads) or in-line with 1/16” tubing for unparalleled convenience and efficiency. The EXP™ System enables chemists to quickly remove detergents or salts which can affect the ionization process in MS work. This trapping technique can concentrate the sample directly on-line, allowing for increased recovery of precious sample material compared to off-line techniques. Free-Turn™ architecture allows users to change cartridges by hand without breaking fluid connections on the holder inlet/outlet. The EXP™ Trap Column family now offers packed beds available in 2, 5, 10, 15, 20 and 30mm lengths with diameters ranging from 1-4.6mm and bed volumes from 1.6-600µL. Our starting material is chromatographically pure Methyl Oleate (isolated from the best virgin olive oil available) which is interesterified for the production of crude Triolein. To assure geometric stability of cis double bonds, the material is further purified by such physical techniques as low temperature crystallization and column chromatography. The final purity is followed both by gas liquid and thin layer chromatography.
