Optimize Piston Seals are the longest lasting seals on the market. Machined from either of two proprietary polymer blends, UHMW-PE or ITB, Optimize Seals provide the ultimate in high pressure sealing capacity. For mostly aqueous buffered mobile phases, PTFE-based Improved PTFE Blend (ITB) seals are a superior choice for applications with elevated temperatures, high organic content, or when the broadest possible solvent compatibility is required. ITB™ seals tend to be softer than those made from UHMW-PE, making them more forgiving at high pressures where piston side-loading or misalignment may occur. This softer nature also leads to more shedding, but the ITB™ proprietary blend is designed to shed particles that are large enough to be caught at the surface of a standard 2µm frit, not embed within it. Waters Corp High Pressure Motorized Valve Assembly
The High Pressure Motorized Valve (HPMV) is a three-way valve that has two common ports and one controllable port. The HPMV is used in two of the three valve positions in the Fluids Pak: V1 (High Pressure Inject Valve) and V2 (High Pressure Syringe Valve). The basic valve is driven by a stepper motor. Used on 717 PLUS Autosamplers and Alliance 2695 and 2695D Separation Modules.

Waters Corp V4, Solenoid Valve Assembly
Replacement V4, Solenoid Valve Assembly. This valve is an integral part of the sample management system and helps ensure that the needle is cleaned between injections. The wetted materials are carefully chosen, and the orifice size inside the valves is optimized for this application. Item previously replaced WAT045407. Used in Alliance 2695 and 2695D Separation Modules prior to mid 2019.
