The Micro 100 Threading Tool is a 1/4" shank high-speed steel threading tool with a 60 degree included angle and 0.040" nose radius. It has an overall length of 3-1/2" and can cut unified screw threads from 4-40 to 1/4-20 as well as metric threads from M1.6 to M6. The tool features TiN coating for increased tool life and lubricity. Its compact size allows threading in confined areas. The threading tool is made in the USA and can machine a wide range of materials including steel, stainless steel, cast iron, aluminum, brass, bronze, plastics and more.
