CryoShield Hepa™ by CellPro is a specialized cryopreservation medium developed specifically for the long term storage of primary hepatocytes derived from human and animal sources. Its ready to use formulation contains no antibiotics or unnecessary additives, ensuring optimal preservation of hepatic cell viability, morphology, and metabolic function. The medium provides advanced cryoprotection by preventing intra and extracellular ice formation during freezing and thawing, protecting plasma membranes, mitochondria, and nuclear structures from damage. This results in reduced cellular stress, lower apoptosis rates, and improved recovery after thawing.
