10mm Trubore glass bearing with 24/40 standard taper joint. Bearing is for use with aluminum packing box in low positive pressure and vacuum applications. Using the graphite-impregnated PTFE packing and ACE Stir-Lube, pressures down to 7 microns have been obtained at 170rpm, using only a mechanical pump. Speeds over 1000rpm are not advisable due to heat generated. Indefinite packing life. Frequent tightening of the packing box is unnecessary once the packing has run in. The high vacuum lubricant trap adapter prevents lubricant from running into stirred material. Use with precision ground, 10mm stirring shaft.

Designed to utilize CG-2095 and CG-2096 PTFE agitators. Lower portion of stirrer shaft is sandblasted and has a 3/8¿ wide flat. PLEASE NOTE: CG- CG-2097-100 IS MADE FROM HEAVY WALL TUBING AND HAS INDENTS FOR AGITATOR POSITIONING. INDENTS ARE SPACED EVERY 10¿ FROM THE BOTTOM AGITATOR.REPLACEMENT STIRRER SHAFTS ARE FOR USE WITH MECHANICAL SEAL STIR BEARING ON LISTED SUPPORT FRAME.
