Electron Microscopy Sciences Histobond Histobond + Supa Mega Slides
Histobond + Supa Mega Slides are designed for mounting large sections of neuro and breast tissue. Manufactured from the highest quality white glass, with an innovative positive charge coating, they offer exceptional adhesive properties and provide a superior coverage of reagents across the slide.
These slides have a 'Right Side' indicator (RS) to help ensure users correctly orientate the slide, as well as a 7mm marking area across the width of the slide in order to maximize the working area.

Electron Microscopy Sciences Superfrost Plus Gold Slide
These slides are specially designed for the application of fresh or formalin fixed frozen tissue. They are inherently tissue binding so there is no need to add sprays or adhesives to the slides.
Securely attach frozen breast, brain, skin and other normally difficult to bond tissue sections to the slide.
Ideal when special stains, immunocytochemical and in situ DNA hybridization techniques are applied on fresh and fixed frozen tissue.
Assist tissue adherence during immunocytochemical analysis of estrogen and progesterone receptors in fresh frozen breast tissue.
They are compatible with both toluidine blue and hematoxylin and eosin rapid frozen section stains.
Electron Microscopy Sciences SuperFrost™ Clipped Corner
Designed specially for the Sysmex SP-100 slide prep unit and recommended for the Diagnostics. The 45 degree clipped corner slide offers exceptional cleanliness and resistance to sticking. The tight tolerances for the length and width help to reduce accumulation of glass chips within the instrument. The pre-cleaned slide is 25 x 75 mm and approximately 1 mm thick. Ideal for technicians, who routinely prepare large number of slides.

The Superfrosted end slides have one side which is frosted with a brilliant white opaque coating that will take and retain all pen markings. They offer superior readability and are permanent.

Microscope slides should be stored in a dry place at constant room temperature. Slides should be stored on a pallet or shelf and not directly on a floor. Do not store slides and solvents together as the slide surface can turn hydrophobic. If the temperature is constantly warming and cooling, condensation may occur, which can cause sticking of the slides. We also recommend, when shipping to a customer, instruct them to allow the slides to reach room temperature prior to opening the cartons and using them. Since soda lime glass is subject to an aging process, we further recommend continuously rotating stock so the oldest slides are always used first. This will ensure that all slides being used are of the highest quality. Standard shelf life for soda lime glass microscope slides is approximately 2 years if t
