Dimensions: 25 x 75 x 1mm Thickness: 1.1mm Transportation and storage conditions considerably affect the quality and performance of microscope slides. Microscope slides should be stored in a dry place at constant room temperature. Slides should be stored on a pallet or shelf and not directly on a floor. Do not store slides and solvents together as the slide surface can turn hydrophobic. If the temperature is constantly warming and cooling, condensation may occur, which can cause sticking of the slides. We also recommend, when shipping to a customer, instruct them to allow the slides to reach room temperature prior to opening the cartons and using them. Since soda lime glass is subject to an aging process, we further recommend continuously rotating stock so the oldest slides are always used first. Electron Microscopy Sciences Quartz Microscope Slides, 25 x 25 mm
There are many applications that require slides and coverslips that have absolute UV transparency, and high temperature properties. EMS now is introducing the highest quality, clear fused quartz microscope slides and coverslips to meet all of these requirements. Fused quartz microscope slides and coverslips with a window of highest transparency to UV is between 0.15µ to 5µ. Typical flatness measured 2 to 4 bands per inch and soften point is about 1250 degree C.

"PTFE" Printed Slides, are extremely hydrophobic, acetone proof, chemical resistant, autoclavable, and precleaned. They are perfect for controlling cross-contamination in staining, immunolabeling and immunofluorescence tests. The well surface is 100% wettable, which enhances cell attachment and increases its spreading capabilities. These slides minimize the use of expensive purified antigens and antibodies.
The shelf life ranges from 18 months to two years. However, it is recommended that all glass slides (Printed or Un-printed) be used in a timely manner to avoid glass "weathering", (slides becoming cloudy or hazy even with proper storage. All of our Printed Slides are autoclavable and have a frosted end. Intended for one time use only. Oval well, hydrophobic, Measures: 3x1" (76x26x1mm).

Grainger Center Drill Plain 1.10mm
The Grainger center drills are made of high speed steel and have a 60 degree included angle point. They are available in multiple fractional drill sizes from 1/16" up to 1/2". The drills have a straight shank and come uncoated. Overall length ranges from 2" for the smaller sizes up to 5" for the larger sizes. These center drills are designed for starting holes in preparation for drilling and produce a conical shaped hole.
