The high optical quality of the polymer material is similar to that of glass. This allows the researcher to perform a wide variety of fluorescence experiments with uncompromised resolution and choice of wavelength. The µ-Slide VI - flat is suited for quick cell tests a few hours after seeding. It is intended for optimization of experimental parameters like antibody dilution, seeding density or most effective drug concentration. "PTFE" Printed Slides, are extremely hydrophobic, acetone proof, chemical resistant, autoclavable, and precleaned. They are perfect for controlling cross-contamination in staining, immunolabeling and immunofluorescence tests. The well surface is 100% wettable, which enhances cell attachment and increases its spreading capabilities. These slides minimize the use of expensive purified antigens and antibodies.
The shelf life ranges from 18 months to two years. However, it is recommended that all glass slides (Printed or Un-printed) be used in a timely manner to avoid glass "weathering", (slides becoming cloudy or hazy even with proper storage. ProPlate integrates microscope slide based array technology with automated microtiter plate processing. Up to 64 individual arrays can be assayed per slide. Four slides fit into a tray, producing a modular plate with a standard microtiter plate footprint and well spacing allowing automated robotic processing of up to 256 arrays.
Up to 64 leak-proof wells on any slide surface without the use of adhesive. Microtiter plate well spacing facilitates use with multichannel pipettes. 7 x 7 mm square well are ideal for high content arrays. 5 – 350 uL well volumes accommodate small reagent and large wash volumes.

Chamber Cell Culture Slide from Nest allows scientists to grow cells directly on a microscope slide without need for further transfer. The microscope slide is a standard size, 25 mm x 75 mm. Barrier slides are suitable for use with frozen tissue sections, formalin-fixed paraffin sections, and cytology preparations. The slide's positive charge forms a bond with the tissue or cell preparation. Specimens adhere to the slide and remain in place during the staining procedures. Although virtually permanent, please note that upon opening the package, the positive charge will very slowly dissipate over time. Using the Barrier slides, cell and tissue loss are virtually eliminated during the microwave Antigen Retrieval* method, enzyme digestion, DNA denaturation and RNA hybridization. Positive-Charged Barrier Slides contain hydrophobic barriers which creates reaction micro chamber, that allow the quantity of reagents per slide to be tailored to the size of the specimen. The PhotonSlide 50 Slides are microscope slides with a hydrophobic surface that allows for uniform spreading of small liquid samples. They are made of soda lime glass and measure 25x75x1mm. The slides have frosted writing areas for labeling and identification. They come in a pack of 50 slides and are suitable for use with most microscope slide staining procedures. The hydrophobic surface allows for even spreading of samples as small as 5 microliters.
