The Micro 100 Ball End Mill is a 4-flute carbide end mill with a ball end. It has a 1/4" shank diameter and is available in multiple diameters from 1/8" to 1/2". The ball end allows milling of 3D contoured surfaces. It can machine steels, stainless steels, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, and non-metallic materials. The 4-flute design provides good chip evacuation. This end mill is made of solid carbide for wear resistance and has TiAlN coating for heat resistance and lubricity. It has center-cutting geometry allowing plunge cuts into material. Recommended speeds are 20,000-30,000 RPM with feed rates of 8-20 IPM.

The square end mill is ideal for slotting, side milling, and facing on materials like steel, stainless steel, cast iron, aluminum, titanium, and plastics. It can achieve precise right angle shoulders in corner milling applications.
