The Grainger Approved Square End Mill Single End Carbide is a milling cutter with a square end for machining slots, shoulders, and angles. It has a 1/2" shank diameter, 1" overall length, and 1/2" cutting diameter. The end mill is made of solid carbide for wear resistance and has 2 flutes for efficient chip removal. It has a TiAIN coating to reduce friction and heat. The end mill can machine steels, cast iron, aluminum, and other non-ferrous metals at high speeds and feeds. It is designed for high performance milling in light to medium duty applications. The end mill is manufactured in the USA by Grainger Industrial Supply to tight dimensional tolerances.
