Glass Expansion Platinum Skimmer Cone with Nickel Base for Agilent 7700x/7800/8800 (G3280-67063)
Platinum Skimmer Cone with Nickel Base (G3280-67063) ¿ For Agilent 7700x/7800/7850/8800 ICP-MS. Recommended for organic applications. Although the highest cost option, it is typically the most durable, longest-lasting, and because it runs hotter it requires less frequent cleaning. Use 10x Magnifier Inspection Tool with Built-In LED Illumination (NC2042261) to inspect cone orifice condition. Use Skimmer ConeGuard (70-803-1008) to protect cone threads during cleaning. When not in use, keep cones stored in original packaging for protection. For routine applications, we recommend the standard Nickel Skimmer for x-lens, see catalog number 501907579.For corrosive acids, including HF, use Platinum Skimmer with Copper Base for x-lens, P/N 501907590, which must be mounted on brass adaptor skimmer base.
