Electron Microscopy Sciences Cold Embedding Flexible Mold 120 x 60 x 45 mm
This rectangular flexible mold is made of very flexible transparent silicone rubber which makes it very easy to remove the mounts. The inner sides are polished, so the sides of the mounts get clear. The sides are also straight which makes it easier to fasten the mounts in a specimen holder.

Electron Microscopy Sciences Easy-Load Mesh Biopsy Cassettes, Gray
These cassettes made from acetal copolymer allow you to load the Micro-Writer and Shur/Mark Cassette Labeling Instruments in one simple operation. Each convenient stack contains 50 unique cassettes. No more manual insertion one-by-one.
The anterior printing area is a 45 degree angle which suits most cassette labeling instruments. One-piece disposable plastic lids are available separately. The lids can be opened and closed as often as necessary and it always relock securely without danger of specimen loss.
Cassettes are packaged in stacks of 50. Each case contains 2 boxes of 20 stacks.

Electron Microscopy Sciences Specimen Clean Baskets
This basket is brass with a stainless steel mesh attached to both ends. To use, simply screw both halves together and you can keep small specimens for long periods of time during the process of fixing, dehydration or even critical point drying. It can also be used to hold small parts for ultrasonic cleaning. Mesh opening: 300 micron. Measurements: Inner Diameter 12.5 mm, Outer Diameter 16 mm, Height 16 mm.

Supa Mega Slim Cassettes are an innovative solution for the processing and embedding of large tissue specimens. They are half the depth of a conventional Supa Mega Cassette, offering significant improvements in processing time, and ensures distortion free, consistent high quality tissue processing. Used in conjunction with the Supa Mega Slim embedding mould, they cast in 20 minutes at -8 degree C, compared to 50 minutes for conventional Supa Mega Blocks.
The novel hexagonal pore design offers a greater open surface area, compared to the slots of conventional Supa Mega Cassettes. This ensures a more efficient flow of reagents during processing and reduces carry over of reagents. The increased open surface area also reduces the occurrence of embedded specimens being separated from the cassette when sectioning fibrous specimens, as it significantly increases the binding between the embedded tissue block and the cassette.
