CD34+ stem cells are multipotent and can give rise to all cell types in blood. CD34+ cells are most known for its expression on hematopoietic progenitor cells found in bone marrow and cord blood. Donors are injected with G-CSF, which stimulates the bone marrow to produce a large number of hematopoietic and progenitor stem cells and mobilizes them into the peripheral blood stream. CD34+ cells are isolated using positive immunomagnetic cell separation procedures from a mobilized leukapheresis collection.

Thus, binding of immunomagnetic particles to this antigen is employed for purification of PromoCell CD14+-Monocytes (hMoCD14+-PB) from Mononuclear Cells (MNC).PromoCell Human CD14+ Monocytes are isolated from fresh peripheral blood. After isolation of the ultra-pure mononuclear cell fraction by proprietary methods, the CD14+ Monocytes are isolated by positive selection with 95% purity.Our hMoCD14+ -PB are now also available from HLA-typed donors.
