For those customers who want to perform FFPE DNA and RNA isolation, BioChain can provide tissue section slices in tubes instead of mounting them on glass slides.

U-PAR is expressed in neurons of the rolandic area of the brain (at protein level) and is also expressed in the brain. PLAUR / CD87 interacts with MRC2, SRPX2 and SORL1. PLAUR / UPAR acts as a receptor for urokinase plasminogen activator and plays a role in localizing and promoting plasmin formation. U-PAR mediates the proteolysis-independent signal transduction activation effects of U-PA.

The cAMP Hunter ADRB3 Gs cell line is a stable, engineered cell line for use in studying drug candidates (small molecules or biologics) targeting GPCRs. This cell line enables assessment of ligand (e.g. epinephrine and norepinephrine) based activation of ADRB3 GPCR activity via detection of increasing levels of intracellular cAMP. This product uses EFC technology. The cells overexpress wild type ADRB3, a naturally Gs coupled GPCR. Upon activation of ADRB3, the increase in levels of intracellular cAMP leads to an increased signal from EFC when the cAMP detection kit is applied. This cell line uses EFC technology to measure ligand-induced internalization of AVPR1B via detection of localization to the early endosome. Upon ligand-induced receptor activation, β-Arrestin-2 is recruited to the activated GPCR and the resulting AVPR1B-arrestin complex is internalized to the early endosome, leading to production of EFC signal.
