Primary Human Retinal Microvascular Endothelial Cells (ACBRI 181 V) were initiated from normal human retinal tissue. Unlike cells from other providers, our primary cells are isolated without positive control antibody labels for enhanced biological relevance. Each vial contains ~1 x 10^6 cells with 85-92% viability under ideal conditions. They are available at Passage 3 (<12 cumulative population doublings) and will initiate a Passage 4 cell culture in a 75 cm2 flask. Each vial of cells is shipped with Bac-Off (antibiotic) and CultureBoost (animal derived growth factors) at no additional cost.
