Recognizes a protein of 42-46 kDa, identified as MAGE-1. This MAb does not cross-react with MAGE-2, -3, -4, -6 -9, -10, -or -12 protein. Human malignant neoplasms carry rejection antigens that are recognized by the patients' autologous, tumor directed and specific, cytolytic, CD8 T lymphocyte clones (CTL). The MAGE family of genes codes an important group of antigens. It was identified that melanomas and primary glial brain tumors express common melanoma associated antigens (MAAs). The ImmPRESS-HRP Anti-Mouse IgG (Horseradish Peroxidase) Polymer Detection Kit is made in horse and targets mouse primary antibodies. This IHC staining system uses novel conjugation chemistry to create a highly sensitive, ready-to-use, one-step, biotin-free detection system. (A combination of highly active enzyme (peroxidase or alkaline phosphatase) and affinity-purified secondary antibodies results in crisp, strong staining. The ImmPRESS micropolymer technology minimizes steric interference and provides enhanced accessibility to the primary antibody targets. The IHC immunostaining protocol is simple. Following a blocking step with 2.5% horse serum, sections are incubated with primary antibody. After a brief wash, the appropriate ImmPRESS Reagent is added to the sections and incubated for 30 minutes. Sections are again rinsed and the slides are developed with a peroxidase or alkaline phosphatase substrate. The ImmPRESS Reagent is ready-to-use and stains 75-150 sections.

GSL I-B4 isolectin is a useful marker for endothelial cells from nonprimates such as mouse, rat, rabbit and goat, as well as a marker for non-peptidergic unmyelinated primary afferent neurons. This "B"-rich lectin preferentially agglutinates blood group B cells and is specific for α-galactose residues. Produced using special conjugation procedures to incorporate DyLight 594 into our affinity-purified lectin, the ratio of fluorophore to lectin protein provides optimal staining (excitation 592 nm, emission 617 nm). Supplied as a solution and essentially free of unconjugated fluorophores, it is preserved with sodium azide.

Biotium MitoView™ 405 Mitochondrial Dyes | 20 x 50ug
MitoView™ 405 is a blue fluorescent mitochondrial dye with absorbance/emission at 398/440 nm, suitable for detection by confocal microscopy or flow cytometry using settings for DAPI or Pacific Blue. The dye is membrane permeable and becomes brightly fluorescent upon accumulation in the mitochondrial membrane. Mitochondrial localization is dependent on mitochondrial membrane potential; when membrane potential is disrupted the dye relocalizes to the cytoplasm, but still retains fluorescence. The dye is designed for use in live cells and is not fixable.

Lewis A (type 1 chain) is expressed in colonic epithelial cells and may be useful for detection of gastrointestinal tumors, pancreatic cancer, and colorectal tumors. Blood group related antigens represent a group of carbohydrate determinants carried on both glycolipids and glycoproteins. They are usually mucin-type, and are detected on erythrocytes, certain epithelial cells, and in secretions of certain individuals.
