Dojindo Molecular Technologies Inc -SulfoBiotics- Biotin-HPDP(WS) solution (500 μL) is a novel water-soluble biotin-labeling reagent that is modified from Biotin-HPDP, easy-to-use aqueous solution including 20 mmol/l Biotin-HPDP(WS).
Biotin-HPDP is a reagent widely used to introduce a biotin moiety to a sulfhydryl group of protein via a reversible disulfide bond via the Biotin switch method. This reagent is useful for affinity-purification of biotinylated proteins by using avidin-coated beads, because the disulfide bond can be cleaved by a reducing agent. However Biotin-HPDP has very low solubility in a solvent, and it is necessary to dissolve it by using an organic solvent such as DMSO or DMF. The preparation of this solution is time-consuming.Biotin-HPDP(WS) solution is a novel water-soluble biotin-labeling reagent that overcomes the problems of Biotin-HPDP by dramatically improving its solubility in water. Biotium HER-2 / CD340(HRB2/282), CF568 conjugate, 0.1mg/mL
Recognizes a protein of 185 kDa, which is identified as c-erbB-2/HER-2/neu. Its epitope is localized in the extracellular domain. C-erbB-2/HER-2 is a member of the EGFR family. This MAb is specific and shows minimal cross-reaction with other members of the EGFR-family. Receptors of this family are located on the plasma membrane and consist of an extracellular ligand-binding domain that is connected to a large intracellular domain by a single transmembrane sequence. c-erbB-2/HER-2 protein is over-expressed in a variety of carcinomas especially those of breast and ovary.Primary antibodies are available purified, or with a selection of fluorescent CF Dyes and other labels. DAPGreen is used to detect autophagy in live cells. Autophagy is an intracellular degradation system, where dysfunctional proteins and organelles are degraded. In this process, aggregated dysfunctional proteins are surrounded by the double membrane to form an autophagosome. The small fluorescent molecule DAPGreen is used to detect autophagosomes and autolysosomes. The mechanism has been suggested to be that the dye is incorporated into the autophagosome during double-membrane formation via structural features and then emits fluorescence under hydrophobic conditions (λex: 450 nm, λem: 535 nm). DALGreen is cell-permeable, has no requirement of transfection method, and enables live-cell imaging with fluorescence microscopy, plate reader, and flow cytometry. For monitoring only autolysosomes, we recommend DALGreen [D675], as it allows the detection of phagosome-lysosome fusion. Dojindo offers various reagents for autophagy research. This antibody recognizes a protein of ~35 kDa, identified as CD74 (Workshop IV). CD74 is a type II transmembrane protein which binds to the peptide binding groove of newly synthesized MHC class II alpha/beta heterodimers and prevents their premature association with endogenous polypeptides. CD74 is expressed primarily by antigen presenting cells, such as B-lymphocytes (from before the pre-B cell stage to before the plasma cell stage), macrophages, and monocytes, and many epithelial cells. Anti-CD74 stains predominantly germinal center lymphocytes and B-cell lymphomas, but rarely T-cell lymphomas. Recognizes a protein of 80 kDa-90 kDa, identified as CD36. It is expressed on platelets, monocytes and macrophages, microvascular endothelial cells, erythrocyte precursors, mammary epithelial cells, and some macrophage derived dendritic cells. CD36 acts as a receptor for thrombospondin (TSP), collagen types I, IV and V, P. falciparum malaria-infected erythrocytes, and sickle erythrocytes. It also functions as a scavenger receptor, mediating macrophage uptake of oxidized low-density lipoprotein (LDL) and recognition of apoptotic polymorphonuclear leukocytes (PMN). CD36 plays a role in platelet aggregation, macrophage foam cell development, inflammation, and the tissue ischemia observed in sickle cell disease and cerebral malaria. This MAb reacts with an N-terminal epitope (aa 16-25) of both wild type and mutated p53. Mutation and/or allelic loss of p53 is one of the causes of a variety of mesenchymal and epithelial tumors. If it occurs in the germ line, such tumors run in families. In most transformed and tumor cells the concentration of p53 is increased 51000 fold over the minute concentrations (1000 molecules cell) in normal cells, principally due to the increased half-life (4 h) compared to that of the wild-type (20 min). p53 Localizes in the nucleus, but is detectable at the plasma membrane during mitosis and when certain mutations modulate cytoplasmic/nuclear distribution. Mutations arise with an average frequency of 70% but incidence varies from zero in carcinoid lung tumors to 97% in primary melanomas.
