The QuickZyme Hydroxyproline Assay Kit enables quantitative collagen analysis in all types of tissues, in a fast and simple 96-well plate format. This assay is the only hydroxyproline-based assay that does not need this laborious step, resulting in a fast, sensitive, and easy assay. Dysregulation in collagen production results in pathologies such as fibrosis (too much collagen), or osteoarthritis (too little collagen). Thus measurement of collagen production is important in many disease related studies.
