The PathHunter eXpress EphA7 Functional Assay provides an easy-to-use cell based assay to study drug candidates (small molecules or biologics) targeting RTKs. This kit assesses RTK activation via detection of activated EphA7 dimerization-induced SH2 domain protein recruitment. This product uses EFC technology. The included cell line overexpresses ProLink-tagged EphA7 and an EA-tagged SH2 domain protein. Upon ligand-induced receptor activation, SH2-EA recruitment leads to production of EFC signal. eXpress kits are a convenient, ready-to-use format which contains all materials needed to run the assay, including single-use vials of cryopreserved cells, cell plating media, detection reagent, and assay plates. Montana Molecular Borealis Arrestin D1R Assay - 10mL
Measure arrestin signaling kinetics in real time with the live cell, fluorescent Borealis arrestin - D1 Dopaine Receptor (D1R) assay. Add the unmodified D1 receptor and Borealis sensor to cells and measure robust signals the next day on an automated plate reader or fluorescence imaging system. This assay is genetically encoded and packaged in BacMam for efficient transduction in most cell types - including uniform and near 100% efficiency in HEK293 cells as well as expression in many primary or iPSC-derived cells. The kit includes the arrestin sensor BacMam, D1R BacMam, 500mM sodium butyrate in H2O, and a positive control receptor and agonist (AT1R BacMam and 5mM Angiotensin II in H2O). Borealis kits for several other receptors are also available, and larger-sized kits are available on request. Other Montana Molecular tools including the cADDis cAMP sensor can be used alongside this assay.
