IBA LifeSciences Strep-TactinXT BLI CouplingKit
Strep-TactinXT BLI Coupling Kit is intended for site-directed, reversible capture of Twin-Strep-tag fusion proteins for biomolecular interaction analysis using Bio-Layer Interferometry (BLI). It provides Strep-TactinXT, Immobilization Buffer, Ethanolamine, EDC, and s-NHS sufficient for coating of 96 biosensors (1 tray). The pM affinity of Strep-TactinXT for Twin-Strep-tag fusion proteins allows specific capture even from complex samples, e.g., culture supernatants. Coated biosensors can be easily regenerated by application of the provided Regeneration Buffer without loss of the Strep-TactinXT coating which enables multiple re-uses.

Seracare Life Sciences Inc HISDETECTOR NICKEL-HRP
HisDetector Nickel-HRP offers a fast, sensitive, single-step method for detecting recombinant His-tagged proteins. His-tagged proteins have a high affinity to nickel (Ni2+) ions. Nickel-NTA (nitrilotriacetic acid) conjugated to horeseradish peroxidase (HRP) will therefore bind directly to the His-tag, eliminating the need for primary and secondary antibodies. This results in assay simplification and reduced detection times. Nickel-HRP offers excellent sensitivity and low background in applications such as Western Blotting (see KPL Application Note). Product may also be used in other application (ELISA, immunohistochemistry, etc.) where direct detection of His-tagged proteins is required. Nickel-HRP is optimized for use with both chemiluminescent and colorimetric substrates.

Recombinant protein. Heligmosomoides polygyrus protein HpARI aa 17-165 is fused at the C-terminus to a His-tag. Binds to human and mouse IL-33. Endotoxin <0.01EU/µg purified protein LAL test. Lyophilized. Contains PBS. HpARI is a protein secreted by the mouse parasite Heligmosomoides polygyrus. The mature protein HpARI, containing three predicted Complement Control Protein CCP-like modules also known as Short Consensus Repeats SCRs or sushi-domains, suppresses type 2 allergic immune responses through interference in the interleukin-33 IL-33 pathway. During cell damage, HpARI gains access to the nucleus of necrotic cells, where it binds directly to IL-33 and nuclear DNA, preventing secretion and binding of IL-33 to its receptor. A non-natural truncation consisting of the first 2 domains of HpARI CCP1/2 retains IL-33 and DNA binding capacity. HpARI CCP1/2 is able to stabilize IL-33, increasing its half-life and amplifying its effects.

SARS-CoV-2 shares 79.5% sequence identity with SARS-CoV and is 96.2% identical at the genome level to the bat coronavirus BatCoV RaTG133, suggesting it had originated in bats. The coronaviral genome encodes four major structural proteins the Spike S protein, Nucleocapsid N protein, Membrane/Matrix M protein and the Envelope E protein. The SARS Envelope E protein contains a short palindromic transmembrane helical hairpin that seems to deform lipid bilayers, which may explain its role in viral budding and virion envelope morphogenesis. The SARS Membrane/Matrix M protein is one of the major structural viral proteins.
