AEC Peroxidase (HRP) Substrate Kit (3-amino-9-ethylcarbazole) produces a red reaction product that can be used as a single label or as a second color for multiple antigen labeling using either manual or automated IHC staining methods. Stained slides must be aqueously mounted (e.g. in VectaMount AQ). This kit contains stock solutions in convenient dropper bottles, including all of the reagents necessary to prepare about 300 ml of working solution (2-3000 sections). It can be also used for staining on blots. Vector Laboratories horseradish peroxidase (HRP) substrate kits include options that are cost-effective (e.g. standard DAB), sensitive (e.g. ImmPACT™ DAB) and convenient (ImmPACT DAB EqV). The range of vibrant colors available facilitates multiplex staining.
Biotium NucView 488 Caspase-3 Substrate, 1mM in 1X PBS
NucView Caspase-3 Substrates are novel fluorogenic substrates for real-time or endpoint detection of apoptosis in live cells. The non-toxic, no-wash substrates do not inhibit caspase-3 unlike other caspase substrates or FLICA assays permitting multiday analysis. They consist of a high-affinity DNA dye linked to a DEVD caspase-3 substrate moiety. Initially non-fluorescent, the cell permeable substrate is cleaved by caspase-3 in apoptotic cells and emits fluorescence, for detection of caspase-3 activity and apopototic nuclear morphology. Suitable for flow cytometry, fluorescence microscopy, or live cell imaging systems, staining is compatible with fixation and permeabilization for immunostaining. NucView 488 is validated in over 100 cell types and 200 publications. Available with blue (NucView 405), green (NucView 488), or red (NucView 530) fluorescence, as PBS solutions for DMSO-sensitive cells, and as stand-alone assays or in kits with other apoptosis or necrosis probes.
