Ac-IETD-AFC is a fluorogenic substrate of caspase-8 and possesses amino aicd sequence IETD which is recognized by caspase-8-mediated proteolysis. It is also a substrate for caspase-3 processing enzyme, caspase-10, and granzyme B. Caspase activity can be quantified by fluorescent detection of free AFC at Ex. = 400 nm and Em. = 505 nm. Ac-IETD-AFC can be used to identify and quantify caspase-8 activity in apoptotic cell lysates and to study events downstream of caspase-8 activation. Other sizes are also available. Please inqury us for quote.

Biotium Coelenterazine FCP
Coelenterazine fcp is a synthetic derivative of coelenterazine. The luminescence intensity of its aequorin complex is 135 times higher than that of aequorin formed from native coelenterazine. Coelenterazines are luminescent enzyme substrates for apoaequorin and Renilla luciferase. Apoaequorin is used as a calcium indicator. It binds coelenterazine to form an aequorin complex that emits light upon calcium binding and measures concentrations ~0.1 uM to >100 uM. Renilla luciferase is widely used as a reporter of transcription regulation and as a donor in bioluminescence resonance energy transfer (BRET) to study protein-protein interactions. Coelenterazines are also used for chemiluminescent detection of superoxide anions and peroxynitrite in cells or tissues. Coelentrazine analogs and water-soluble Aquaphile™ Coelenterazines are also available.Properties : Yellow solid soluble in MeOH or EtOH; Store at -20°C, protect from light; C25H24FN3O2; MW: 417.48.

Biotium HER-2 / CD340(HRB2/718), CF740 conjugate, 0.1mg/mL
Recognizes a protein of 185 kDa, which is identified as c-erbB-2/HER-2/neu. Its epitope is localized in the extracellular domain. C-erbB-2/HER-2 is a member of the EGFR family. This MAb is specific and shows minimal cross-reaction with other members of the EGFR-family. Receptors of this family are located on the plasma membrane and consist of an extracellular ligand-binding domain that is connected to a large intracellular domain by a single transmembrane sequence. c-erbB-2/HER-2 protein is over-expressed in a variety of carcinomas especially those of breast and ovary.Primary antibodies are available purified, or with a selection of fluorescent CF Dyes and other labels. CF Dyes offer exceptional brightness and photostability. Note: Conjugates of blue fluorescent dyes like CF405S and CF405M are not recommended for detecting low abundance targets, because blue dyes have lower fluorescence and can give higher non-specific background than other dye colors.
