When highest purity in a Septa is required. No color added to the rubber or PTFE (Teflon) for improved purity these caps offer virtually no extractables including colors that can contaminate sensitive analyses. Often chosen for LCMS, GCMS & LCMS/MS. Not recommended for Waters Alliance, Acquity™ and all other autosamplers that require Pre-Slit Septa.

This specially designed septa provides easy penetration by autosampler needles with improved resealing compared to other Snap Caps. The ultra-pure Silicone Rubber and PTFE have no added color producing the highest purity septa on the market with virtually no contamination or extractables. The Star Shaped (*) slit offers a much greater target area for an autosampler needle to penetrate the septa and offers minimal resistance. It may not reseal as well as other Pre-Slit Septa. Recommended for LCMS/MS.
