Cell Systems Corporation Passage Reagent Group (4Z0-800)
The Passage Reagent Group (PRG) consists of a matched set of reagents optimized for releasing cells from culture dishes and flasks in subculture or freezing procedures (3x100mL). Its main objective is to ensure cell viability, maintain the integrity of cell surface markers and minimize stress to cells during the detachment process. The PRG consists of PRG-1 (EDTA-dPBS Solution), PRG-2 (Trypsin/EDTA-dPBS Solution) and PRG-3 (Trypsin Inhibitor-dPBS Solution). The chelating agent EDTA in PRG-1 loosens cell attachment gently from culture surfaces. Trypsin concentration in PRG-2 is optimized to detach loosened cells while minimizing adverse effects on cell viability and surface markers.
