This mix combines SYBR Green I dye, Applied Biosystems™ AmpliTaq Gold™ DNA Polymerase, dNTPs with dUTP, Passive Reference 1, and optimized buffer in the convenience of a single vial. Premixed components significantly reduce assay setup time. The mix also provides maximum flexibility at a reduced cost because no target-specific Applied Biosystems™ TaqMan™ probes are required.
The SYBR Green I dye chemistry can be used for the following assay types:
- One-step RT-PCR for RNA quantitation
- Two-step RT-PCR for RNA quantitation
- DNA/cDNA quantitation
