Generating a Web Quote
Who is eligible to use the Web Quote feature?
- Anyone with a business account can access our Web Quote feature. If you are signed in and cannot see the Generate a Web Quote option in the cart, please contact web support.
What pricing will be used to create the Web Quote?
- The Web Quote will reflect your current contract pricing for the account you selected. Products added from existing quotes will update to also reflect this contract pricing.
- Prices will remain valid until the Web Quote expires. Exceptions include: Encompass program products and extra charges associated with the order. Price updates will be reflected in the cart and at checkout at the time of purchase.
Will shipping or tax be included on my Web Quote?
- Additional charges associated with your order will appear on your Web Quote just as they did in the cart view. Estimated charges will be noted as such and recalculated in the cart during checkout.
Are any products excluded?
- Depending on the account, products you’re eligible to order will also qualify for the Web Quote feature. Please note that some Encompass program and configurable products may not qualify.
Viewing Your Web Quote and Placing an Order
Who has access to the Web Quotes I've generated?
- Only business-registered customers with the same account number can view your Web Quotes.
Can I add products to an existing Web Quote?
- To incorporate additional products, you’ll need to generate a new Web Quote.
Can I request an extension to the valid through date?
- You’ll need to generate a new Web Quote to use for ordering purposes. Expired Web Quotes are available to view, but cannot be used to place an order.
Can I change the account number on the Web Quote?
- The account number cannot be edited once a Web Quote is generated.
What happens if I add items to the cart from a Web Quote and then change my account number?
- Changing the account number will update the pricing to reflect the contract of that particular account.
Can I update the quantities I want to purchase?
- Once you’ve added your products to the cart from your Web Quote, you can update the quantity for each item. Pricing will adjust to reflect your current contract pricing at the new quantity.

Order Placement
Can I order by catalog number?
- Yes. Select Order By Catalog Number, located at the top navigation of the site, enter the catalog number and the quantity you desire in the appropriate fields, and select Add Items to Cart.
Order Status
Can I see all orders placed online and through my rep?
- Yes. You can find all your orders online by selecting Order Status from the top navigation of the site. View by All Items Ordered or Items Being Shipped.
What should I do if I can’t see my order?
- Talk to your sales representative to ensure you have access to the right accounts.
How can I narrow down the orders from my organization so I see just my orders?
- Use the filters on the Order Status page to quickly narrow down your search results.
Can I track my order?
- Yes. Tracking information can be found on the Order Status page. Items not stocked in our warehouses may not have tracking information yet, but we’re continually adding carrier and supplier information.
Can I track my order if I don't have an account?
- Yes. Visit the Order Status page and enter your order number and zip code under Check a Single Order.
How can I view and download invoices?
- Visit the Order Status page, select the Invoices tab, and search for a specific order. Once you’ve found it, click on View Invoice. From that page, you can download the invoice.
Order History
How do I reorder an item or view past invoices?
- Once logged in, select Order Status from the top navigation of the site. On that page, you can view past orders by Orders, Items, or Invoices.
How can I see what I bought last year?
- Use the filters on the Order Status page to narrow down your organization’s order history by months, days, and years.
My Lists
Can I create lists of frequently ordered items?
- Yes. Once logged in, you can select My Lists from the Account menu. From that page you can create a new list or access saved lists.
Where can I find my templates
- Your templates can be found under "My Lists."
Customizable Products
How can I customize my life sciences products?
- There are several tools to choose from under the RNAi, Oligos, Assays, Gene Editing & Gene Synthesis Tools option in the Shop Products menu.
