Applications
1,12-Dodecanediol is used in the polyester polyols for polyurethanes, coatings and inks, adhesives, lastomers, polyesters and co polyesters, polymer cross linkers, pharmaceutical intermediates, fragrances.

Soluble in alcohol and warm ether. Insoluble in water and petroleum ether.
